Hi, my name is May Yeo Silvers, an events veteran and owner of a 6 figure PROFIT event planning company, and also the owner and business mentor of a 6 figure PROFIT business coaching company where I have helped several EVENTrepreneurs turn their Passion for Events into Profit. I am the host for one of the most downloaded podcast in the events field, The Unstoppable Eventrepreneur, and the author for the recently published book, The Unstoppable Eventrepreneur.
My journey in the events industry began in Singapore where I'm originally from. I started my career as a trainee at the famous Raffles Hotel in 1996. It was there that I fell in love with the hospitality and events industry and decided to pursue a hospitality education at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.
In 2004, I came to Miami, Florida to establish the events and food & beverage departments at The Setai, a luxury hotel overlooking the iconic South Beach. I was also the Director of Catering and Conference Services and Director of Event Planning at other luxury hotels, including the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and The Royal Palm, South Beach.
After being fed up with working over 60 hours per week and not having a life outside work, I created M2 Hospitality 10 years ago and built it into a MULTIPLE 6-figure PROFIT event planning company today.
With M2 Hospitality, I am able to do what I love and spend time with my family. As a happy wife, proud mom, successful EVENTrepreneur, and the founder of Events4Anyone™, a company that coaches event planners to become Unstoppable EVENTrepreneur, I want to help other event planners to start and grow their event planning company so they could do what they love and live their dream life too.
